REDARC BCDC Classic40 12V 40A DC Battery Charger

Power bigger touring setups with the REDARC BCDC Classic40. This in-vehicle 12V, 40A DC charger keeps your auxiliary battery charging while you drive and from solar when you’re parked. It’s under-bonnet rated, fully potted and sealed to handle heat, dust and water, so it’s built for Australian conditions.

An integrated MPPT solar regulator and Green Power Priority use available solar first, easing the load on your alternator. The Classic40 works with 12V and 24V vehicles, including smart/variable-voltage alternators, and supports modern chemistries such as LiFePO4, along with AGM, Gel, Calcium and standard lead-acid.

As a guide, choose the BCDC1240D for lead-acid banks over 200Ah or lithium banks over 100Ah. For smaller systems, the BCDC1225D is the better match. Built and tested in Australia, the Classic series is proven in extreme heat and on rough tracks, from the Simpson to Cape York.
